Hello! My name is Caitlin! As a therapist I take a person
centered approach to therapy meaning that you guide our conversation and I
provide support, understanding, and gentle challenges as we work towards making
positive changes in your life. I also like to incorporate humor in the
therapeutic process, as I love to laugh and I believe laughter is some of the
best therapy there is.In addition to being a therapist I am also a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and my own person. Holding all of these identities while navigating life can be challenging and is often accompanied by feelings of anxiety, depression, loneliness, guilt, shame, or fear. Having experienced many of these feelings myself, I enjoy working with others who are facing similar challenges. Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals who are going through life transitions or a changing of seasons, and are looking for support or an outside perspective.
A bit about myself - I am married and have two young children – our family also includes two senior rescue dogs whom we love very much; I volunteer with the Lexington Humane Society; and in the little free time I have, I enjoy needlepointing, barre classes, walking, and watching Golden Girls reruns! I am also a UK alum. Go Cats!
